Our journey began in February of 2021. What started with an "I can do that" has morphed into an all-consuming obsession.We started the "wood shop" with hand carving kitchen utensils and cutting boards and have since moved on to turning pens, pencils, botte stoppers and other gifts in January of 2024. While our focus has changed, our philosophy has not.From hand selecting each board from either locally sourced wood or trusted US sources to carefully designing and finishing these pieces of art, we take pride in what we are offering to you. While one piece might take an hour from start to finish, another might take two (2) hours or longer.We do not have a production line nor an employee base - it's just the two of us - my husband Ted and myself, with the occasional help from one of our crazy cats, hence our shop name, The Crazy Cat Wood Shop.
